Father’s Day

Monday, June 21st, 2010

For Father’s Day this year, Jonathan cleaned the living room and dining room.  Now there’s a boy that knows that his father likes!  Aaron snuck a card into my wallet that I only discovered today at work, and Lana hand-crafted me a flower from construction paper.

  2. Maybe something bit her.
  3. Don’t take that binky out.
  4. Calm down!

Weapons of World War II

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

Here’s a report Aaron wrote for school on the weapons of World War II.  Right up his alley of interest.

An excerpt:

image The Lewis Gun’s length was 50.5 inches and it was gas operated. It weighed around 26 pounds unloaded and the barrel was 26 inches long. It had a rate of fire or around 550 rounds per minute. This gun has been in use before World War I even started. Even though it was incredibly heavy it was extremely accurate and reliable.
